About Bitweb Core

Bitweb Core is an open-source project that maintains and releases the Bitweb (BTE) client software. Based on Bitcoin Core, it provides both a full-node for fully validating the blockchain and a built-in wallet. Anyone is welcome to contribute.

Lead Maintainer

This list will be expanded. We hope Bitweb Core will grow a large open-source developer community with many contributors to the codebase.

Maintainers

Project maintainers have commit access and are responsible for merging patches from contributors. They perform a janitorial role — merging patches the team agrees should be merged — and act as a final check to ensure patches are safe and in line with project goals. The maintainers' role is by agreement of project contributors.

Contributors

Everyone is free to propose code changes and to test, review, and comment on open Pull Requests. Anyone who contributes code, review, tests, translations, or documentation to Bitweb Core is considered a contributor. The release notes for each Bitweb Core release contain a credits section recognizing all who contributed over the previous release cycle.
